ABOUT

At Untitled Architects, we believe great architecture begins with an idea — an “untitled” spark that grows into something meaningful through collaborative design and intentional integration into the site. Every project we take on, whether it’s a cozy residence or a multi-family building deserves the same thoughtful approach.

Over the years, we’ve worked across a broad spectrum of projects: from urban design and adaptive reuse, to mixed-use developments, multi-family housing, and high-end residential homes. But what ties all of our work together is a commitment to thoughtful, context-aware design that solves real problems — without losing sight of beauty, livability, or long-term value.

We don’t just draft plans; we come from a background that includes real estate development and hands-on construction. That means we’re not just thinking about how a building looks — we’re thinking about how it’s built, how it functions, how it feels to live or work in, and how to ground design decisions in financial and practical realities. Our goal is to deliver not just architecture, but a complete built environment that meets your needs from day one — and endures for decades to come.

At the heart of our practice, we value relationships first. From that first conversation to final hand-off, we walk every step of the process with you. We treat every new project as a unique opportunity to bring together your vision and our expertise to your site — always with care, clarity, and respect.

If you choose to work with us, you’re not hiring a big firm with layers of bureaucracy. You’re working with a dedicated, experienced team that cares deeply about your project — and about making sure you’re truly heard.

Peter Gray

Founder and Principal

Peter Gray is a registered architect in Washington State and specializes in thoughtfully designed residential projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. His work spans custom single-family homes, small-scale multi-unit housing, and context-driven infill developments.

With a background in real estate development and construction, Peter brings a pragmatic, cost-aware perspective to design. He approaches each project with an understanding of how design decisions impact livability, constructability, and long-term value. This allows the creative process to be grounded in real-world constraints while still producing architecture that is warm, durable, and deeply connected to place.

He lives in Seattle with his wife and young daughter.
